Pinnacle Drinks was established in 2012 and is a combination of the legacy EDG own brand business and the winemaking and packaging facilities in South Australia's Barossa Valley acquired as part of the Cellarmasters transaction. Pinnacle partners with winemakers, growers, brewers and distillers to deliver some of the world's leading brands across the wine, beer, spirits and ready-to-drink categories. We work on the principle that successful partnerships are ones in which all parties benefit.
Retail Exclusivity – EDG values Retail Exclusivity because it helps to generate shopper loyalty and repeat visits. This is mutually advantageous to producers and retailers. If your brand and product proposition is strong, exclusivity enables us to differentiate the customer shopper proposition, providing unique reasons to visit our stores. In return, exclusive brands receive powerful support from our market-leading retail networks, ensuring strong sales volumes and a truly national retail presence.
Exclusivity also means that we look to deal direct with suppliers. Working as closely with our retail partners as we do, means we are able to advise on and provide supply and marketing efficiencies that assist both supplier and retailer alike.
Pinnacle Drinks business also includes Dorrien Estate, a 5 Red-Star James Halliday rated winery located in Australia's premier wine region, the Barossa Valley in South Australia. Dorrien Estate produces benchmark wines through its exclusive partnerships with leading winemakers, and by sourcing from some of Australia's most celebrated regions.
Still in the Barossa, Pinnacle maintains a state-of-the-art packaging operation, Vinpac International, providing specialist wine packaging, bottling, winemaking, laboratory and warehouse/despatch services.
Pinnacle Drinks is constantly looking at new brands for exclusivity opportunities. As such, it doesn’t have a range review calendar and is pleased to accept an expression of interest at anytime.
